Before & After Meditation Journal Prompts ( Free Printable)

If you’re someone who gets distracted easily in their meditation and soon gives up then this article is for you. A few years back, when I started my meditation practice, I didn’t know what I was doing. Most of the time I was thinking about what to do in my meditation. So I started to see various videos on meditation that described what to do. All made sense to me but the problem came when I sat in my meditation, my mind would run with information overload and try to convince me to try another way of meditation. Later on, I understood that I needed something so that my mind wouldn’t convince me to go try everything all at once.
So, I started to Journal before and after my meditation to train my mind and explain what we were doing and how. It’s a good practice and if you are a beginner at meditation then it will help you a lot. Most of the people give up meditating because their mind overpower their free will. They complain that their mind doesn’t stop thinking or analyzing. That’s why these journal Prompts are going to help you in finding your center.
Studies have shown that when we write something down on a paper we convince our mind to do things as instructed. It’s like we are setting new neural pathways so that the brain knows what to do if it gets distracted. These Journal prompts will help you to deepen your meditation practice. But these are just supportive tools for meditation, they won’t tell you how to meditate. So let’s get started.

They are mere tools to support your meditation so that you can set your intentions. I designed these Prompts short and minimal because the purpose is meditation, not Journaling.
