How to harness the full moon energy for your spiritual growth?
Full moons are the perfect time for spiritual growth and mastery. It’s the time for self reflection and preparing for the new cycle in our lives. It doesn’t matter if you are spiritual or not, the Full moon will continue to do its job. So how does it even work?
How does Full moon impact us?
Full moon heightens our sensitivity and makes us hyper aware of everything around us. You will feel all the suppressed emotions and all the things that had remained unconscious. Now if you are conscious enough you will channel this energy toward your spiritual growth, if not, then chances are your energy is going to be all over the place.
Full moon is here to remind us that one cannot bring change in their lives while holding on to their past thus it brings us a perfect opportunity to shine light upon all the unconscious parts of ours. So how do we do that?
Become aware of your thoughts and emotions
Full moon is going to bring all the suppressed parts of yours out. Do make sure that you do not get swayed by it. The moment doubt, fear, anger, guilt, frustration or any other emotion creeps in and tries to force you into thinking similar thoughts, stop there. Ask yourself:
1. How do I feel right now?
2. Who is thinking these thoughts?
3. Is it really happening or its just the thought about it making you unhappy?
The moment you recognize the pattern of thinking and feeling, you are out of it until you become unconscious again. Just keep asking yourself these questions, they will help you in staying rooted in your true nature.
Don’t Suppress anything
Spiritual people have this high vibe feeling compulsion. So they start to force their mind to receive its command. But you can’t fool the Full moon. Full moon is going to bring out the things that you do not want to face and trust me it’s going to turn ugly, until it dissolves.
What to do?
Whenever those emotions arise, I want you to drop yourself in it. Say you are feeling angry, the way out will be embracing your anger. So whenever anger arises, close your eyes, feel where you feel anger in your body. Now drop yourself in those sensations. Keep going. Mind will try to gain your attention, again drop yourself in those sensations.
Soon the energy will be cleared from your body.
Be gentle
I know you will want to get out of that thoughts and emotion loop, you will want to do every possible thing to get you out of it and your mind will give you every possible scenario to keep you stuck in that loop. But remember this, you are not your thoughts. Neither your thoughts or your emotions define you. You’re a divine being having this physical experience so that you can clarify that stuck energy and return to your true self, your divinity. So be patient and gentle with yourself. Your body is intelligent, let it guide you.
There’s a power within all of us that guides us, that takes care of everything from our breathing to pumping blood so that we can enjoy this human experience fully but it’s us who want to take control and do things on our own. This power just lets us be without holding any judgment. It let us make mistakes, shatter everything, but all it does hold is love for us. If you want it to intervene anytime, it’s always there, always waiting for you to return home. Allow it to guide you. This full moon is here to remind you to surrender to this infinite power.
